Tim Comerford – Actor

Why do you like being part of a drama group?

After being a student of Performing Arts and Drama at higher education, life took over and took me in a difference direction. Now, after 20 something years of not “walking the boards”, the call to the stage can’t be ignored. After moving to the area I sought out a friendly and welcoming group of thespians and found my way into the arms of the Ember Players Theatre Company. The group offers a genuine passion for the play. They say “The play is the thing” and the Ember Players truly embody that.

What has been your favourite role to play in your time as an actor?

The Groom in Federico Garcia Lorca’s ‘Blood Wedding’.
